The death of a nurse who took a hoax call about the Duchess of Cambridge was a "tragedy", the Australian radio station behind it says.

A judge will rule later on whether a seven-year-old boy with a brain tumour should receive radiotherapy treatment, which his mother fears could do long-term harm.

The London hospital which employed a nurse who died after a radio hoax call about the Duchess of Cambridge protests to the Australian network, saying the incident is "tragic beyond words".
