<p>American actor James Van Der Beek, best known for his role in the popular drama series "Dawson's Creek", passed away on Wednesday at the age of 48. He was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2023, and publicly revealed his illness in 2024.</p><p>Van Der Beek is survived by his second wife, Kimberly Brook, and six children.</p>
