Israel Allies Foundation unveils its 2026 list of leading Christian supporters of Israel, with the late Joni Lamb taking the top spot.

<p>Six illegal residents were arrested in police operations in the Nesher area, including four found at a construction site in Daliyat al-Karmel. The site’s employer was also arrested, and the site was ordered closed for 30 days.</p>

<p>Daniel Umansky, 14, was the Israeli boy killed Friday morning when a Russian drone struck his family’s home in the Pechersk district of central Kyiv. His mother was injured and evacuated for medical treatment.</p><p>The family had previously immigrated to Israel but returned to Ukraine about 20 years ago. Israel’s consul, the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine, and Chabad emissaries are assisting the family.</p>

<p>Mohammad Mokhber, a senior adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, threatened Friday to disrupt air traffic across the region amid US sanctions on Iran’s aviation industry.</p><p>“If Iran cannot operate flights and receive aviation services at airports, no other country in the region will be able to do so either," he said.</p>

The delegation presented him with the Four Species and spoke with him ahead of his UN address.</p><p>During the meeting, the participants sang “L’chatchila Ariber" with Netanyahu and presented him with the book Oseh Shalom.</p><p>Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Aharonov told Netanyahu: “You are going there carrying a great torch on behalf of the entire Jewish people."</p>

<p>Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during his meeting with US President Donald Trump, Washington proposed holding technical-level trilateral talks in the United Arab Emirates involving the US, Ukraine and Russia.</p><p>According to Zelenskyy, no date has yet been set for the meeting, and Ukraine is awaiting the US proposal on the matter.</p>

<p>Yisrael Beytenu chairman Avigdor Liberman said the next coalition must be based on the principles of a Jewish and democratic state, equal rights and obligations, and “one law" for all citizens.</p><p>He said that following “the three most difficult years in the history of the State of Israel," the country must return to the values on which it was founded, which he said were reflected in Theodor Herzl’s "The Jewish State" and in Israel’s Declaration of Independence.</p>
