After a turbulent election day, the political drama reaches its climax: TV exit polls reveal the emerging distribution of Knesset seats and the balance of power between the political blocs.

The elections for the 26th Knesset have moved to the vote-counting phase after the polls closed at 10 pm.

Amit Segal outlines three possible scenarios following the exit poll results: a minority government, a unity government, or another election, saying that even a single Knesset seat could change the options for forming a government.

Ahead of the vote count in the elections for the 26th Knesset, the Central Elections Committee clarified that a defect in a ballot slip does not automatically require its disqualification.

Following a request by Likud, joined by Shas and Otzma Yehudit, the Central Elections Committee's presidium decided not to extend voting hours.
