Israel Air Force jets struck targets in Gaza from which rockets were fired on Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha in southern Israel on Friday, according to an IDF statement on Saturday.Launches were detected from Khan Yunis towards Israel on Saturday, although they fell near the security fence in southern Gaza. The IDF responded by targeting the areas from which the launches occured.Israeli aircraft also struck a ready-to-fire mortar launcher aimed at IDF troops in the central Gaza Strip.After the IDF confirmed the evacuation of civilians in the area, fighter jets struck rocket launchers aimed at Israel in the south of the Strip.Israeli naval troops also struck terror targets and provided fire support, assisting IDF ground troops in the central Gaza Strip, the military added.

Three people were seriously injured Saturday overnight in an explosion that occurred during a violent incident in Tamra, Israeli media reported on Saturday.The Magen David Adom team that was called to the scene gave them medical treatment and evacuated them to the Emek Medical Center in Afula.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken warned Qatar that they should expel Hamas senior officials if the terror group rejects another ceasefire proposal, Israel's state broadcaster, KAN, reported on Saturday morning.Qatar reportedly responded that they told Hamas leadership to be prepared for a scenario in which they would be forced to leave the country.Senior officials cited in the report claimed Qatar was preparing for Hamas’s expulsion for months due to frustration with Hamas’s unwillingness to accept ceasefire proposals.

United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken warned that the US cannot support a “military operation in Rafah, because the damage it will cause will be beyond what is acceptable,” according to Saturday morning Israeli media reports.Blinken continued to state that "the reality at the moment is that Hamas remains the only obstacle between the residents of Gaza and a ceasefire. We are waiting to see if the organization can really agree to say yes to a ceasefire and the release of the hostages."

Russian defense ministry said on Saturday its air defense forces shot down four US-produced long-range missiles over the Crimea peninsular, weapons known as Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) that Washington has shipped to Ukraine in recent weeks.The ministry did not give details.On Tuesday, Russian officials also said Ukraine had attacked Crimea with ATACMS in an attempt to pierce Russian air defenses of the annexed peninsula but that six had been shot down.A US official said in Washington last month that the United States secretly shipped long-range missiles to Ukraine in recent weeks.The ATACMS missiles, with a range up to 300 km (190 miles)were used for the first time in the early hours of April 17, launched against a Russian airfield in Crimea that was about 165 km (103 miles) from the Ukrainian front lines, the official said.
