The IDF operated throughout the Gaza Strip and West Bank on Wednesday night, according to reports in Israeli and Palestinian media.Israeli media reported that violent clashes had broken out in multiple villages in the West Bank, including Al-Farah south of Tubas and Tal south of Nablus. The IDF was also reported to be operating in Kalandiya, north of Jerusalem.Palestinian media reported that the IDF was operating in Rafah and Nuseirat in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday night.

Following a situational assessment by Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, the IDF announced that as of 18:00 Israel time Wednesday, changes will be made to the Home Front Command’s defensive guidelines.As part of the changes, it was decided that in some of the specified communities near the Gaza Strip, educational activities could be held without restrictions, gatherings would be limited to 1,000 people, and workplaces and essential economic activities could proceed without restriction. However, in several communities, restrictions for these activities will remain in place.The changes in the Home Front Command's defensive guidelines are intended to ease restrictions on the home front in accordance with the operational situational assessment. Operating on intelligence provided by the IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency,) an Israel Air Force aircraft eliminated Hamas terrorist Ahmed Hassan Salame Alsauarka in a targeted airstrike, the military said on Thursday.Alsauarka was a squad commander in the Nukhba Forces who participated in the massacres in southern Israel on October 7.

Israel Police arrested a protester on Thursday for cutting the lock on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's gate using a disc and replacing it with another lock at his residence in Caesarea, the police announced.According to the police, this was done in preparation for the planned evening protest. The police located the 71-year-old suspect from Kiryat Tivon in his car after he drove away from the scene. He has been taken for questioning.

Rishi Sunak is forecasted to become the first sitting British prime minister to lose their own parliamentary seat at an election, a Savanta opinion poll published by the Telegraph newspaper ahead of the July 4 national vote showed.Savanta polled around 18,000 people between June 7-18.The polling showed Sunak's Conservatives on track to be left with just 53 seats in Britain's 650-member House of Commons, with the opposition Labour Party forecast to win 516.Most opinion polls currently place Keir Starmer's Labour about 20 percentage points ahead of the governing Conservatives in the national vote share.
