The Israeli government confirmed its intention on Thursday to carry out the planned rotation in the Foreign and Energy Ministries, with the rotation set to be approved in Sunday's cabinet meeting in Jerusalem.As part of the rotation agreement, Foreign Minister Eli Cohen will switch to the Energy Ministry, with Energy Minister Israel Katz taking his place as Israel's top diplomat.

The IDF published Thursday the names of three soldiers who fell in battle in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.The three were named as Sgt.-First Class (res.) Asaf Pinhas Tubul, 22, from Kiryat Motzkin; Cpt. (res.) Neriya Zisk, 24, from Masu'ot Itzhak; and Maj. Dvir David Fima, 32, from Kfar Yona.

In its latest response to attacks on shipping by the Houthis, the United States on Thursday sanctioned an individual and three currency exchange houses that it accused of facilitating the flow of Iranian financial assistance to the Yemeni movement.The exchange houses are based in Turkey and Yemen, the US Treasury said in a statement."Today's action underscores our resolve to restrict the illicit flow of funds to the Houthis, who continue to conduct dangerous attacks on international shipping and risk further destabilizing the region," Treasury Undersecretary Brian Nelson said in the statement.
